First things first, we all know that a pretty facade alone does not a great website make, but a polished look and feel is absolutely crucial in the success of this project. We believe that great design has the power to create a sense of trust and authority with your audience. It has the power to capture attention, foster engagement and ultimately, drive the user to take action. We need to develop an evolved design aesthetic that speaks specifically to the Asia Catalyst audience. Something modern, something clean, something evocative without being kitschy.
But we must ensure that at the heart of all of our creative and technical decisions, we’re always aware of how we’re conveying the core pillars of innovation, authority and trust.
Finally, the most important piece of this entire puzzle is ensuring that whatever we build ultimately and difitively tells the Asia Catalyst story. Who are you and what do you do? How do we use narrative and visual storytelling to communicate the breadth and depth of the Asia Catalyst experience.
In order to effectively tell our story, we must give users context within which to view the organization. Understanding where you’ve been, and how you got to where you are now will not only serve as a vehicle to highlight your accomplishments, but will also give the user real world insight into what you do and how you do it.
I also want to think about tackling that same issue from another angle, what better way to tell the story of Asia Catalyst than through the eyes of the people themselves. Our website will celebrate the stories of the people that have been touched by the organization. Putting a human face to the abstract concepts and achievements will serve to provide a new window into the inner-workings of the organization.
In order to inspire action, we need to give people the right information at the right time. What good are resources if they’re buried on the website? How can we strategically design the architecture of the website so it’s easy for users to navigate, while also introducing them to actionable resources at relevant times. Let’s bring these action guides and toolkits to the forefront of the website and make them compelling for people to engage with.
We’ve done this for long enough to know that process is everything. With a great process, we can be efficient, effective, and almost guarantee a successful project outcome. We have honed and refined a very specific process over the years that has led to hundreds of successful projects, here’s a brief overview of how it works.
our 3 tiered Project Management system
Track your project with a birds eye view using your custom Project Board. See a checklist-style breakdown, step by step, from project kickoff to launch.
At our weekly check-in we do three things: A) An overview of what we accomplished this week. B) A breakdown of what will be done next week. C) How we're tracking on our overall progress and project timeline.
Finally, you will be given access to a custom Slack channel where you will have direct access to your team for any day to day communications.
